Certain reports will contain the Mobile Ad ID (MAID) header on the .csv output file.
However, to comply with PII rules and various state and federal laws, ALL USER-FACING MOBILE AD IDS (MAIDS) ARE ENCRYPTED USING MILITARY GRADE HASHING.
Any reports or exports users can create contain hashed MAIDS only usable for analysis purposes but not for any other use, or for publishing. Mobile Ad IDs/Devices sent to DSPs via secure methods using our publishing integration tools must conform to the format that the specific DSP requests, i.e. unhashed, SHA-1, SHA-256, etc), but again, exporting unhashed / unencrypted Mobile Ad IDs/Devices out of the platform is prohibited.
If you are interested in publishing to a DSP or social network where OnSpot does not have a direct platform integration, such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, or Snapchat, please contact your support representative and we will assist you.
