Resellers can add sub-organizations and users very easily.

Step 1. Create the Child Organization

Login with your admin credentials go to Administrative -> Administer Organizations and "Add New Organization". Here you'll add the Organization's Name and save. If you need to update publishing credentials in the child org, you can do so after saving.

Step 2. Creating Child Admin User

The Child Administrator will be responsible for managing all the Child Users associated with their organization. This way, they decide what permissions and roles are assigned and which users get billable permissions that will be billed to them.

Go to Administrative -> Administer Users and "Add New User". On the User Detail tab, add the new user's Name and Email address. Then select the child organization in the drop-down menu. Click on the permissions tab and start adding applicable permissions. (Note: a user cannot be set up without first selecting permissions for that user). Tip: on Your Administer Users page there is a button that allows you to see the permissions granted to each user in your organization and your child organizations.

This new admin will be able to add additional child users and their associated permissions. In order to do that, you will need to provide the admin user with "Grant" permissions (color coded red at the bottom of each permissions tab) as necessary along with their other basic permissions.

Finally, you will need to give the Admin permissions in the Admin tab to "Administer Users."

Make sure you create at least 1 Admin user in the child org, and make them responsible for creating additional child org users and permissions to avoid any billing issues or granting permissions that should not be granted.

The most basic permissions for users would include:

Geoframe:

  • Create Geoframes

  • Edit Geoframes

  • Refresh Geoframes

  • View Geoframes

Audience:

  • Create Geoframe Audience

  • Create Demographic Audience

  • Create Quick Select Audience

  • Edit Audiences

  • View Audiences

  • Insight Reports

  • Basic Downloads (You may or may not grant these options to users).

  • Publishing permissions

Attribution: (As this is a billable item, you may or may not grant this option to users).

  • Create Attribution Reports

  • View Attribution Reports
