We have added functionality to our audience building tools to look at historical behavior patterns to identify MAIDs that are likely to move to a new home address. Users can get a Predicted Movers MAID audience for digital campaigns and reporting or street addresses for direct mail. Note that the addresses provided are where the devices currently live. The service only provides devices that are likely to move from their current home, but it does not predict where they may move to.

  • Home services (Home Security, HVAC, Landscaping, Remodeling etc.)

  • Moving companies & associated services

  • Real Estate (Agents, Leasing Offices, Mortgage Brokers, etc.)

  • Retail

  • …and more

How it Works:

Using our multi-year history of matching devices to likely residences, we are able to predict when there is a change of residence for a device. Using the fact that many rental properties are on 12- or 24-month leases, devices that moved nearly 12 or 24 months ago are more likely to move than a typical device. By choosing a current date window and a list of zip codes, you can build an audience which contains devices that are more likely to move in the near future compared to other audiences.

Note, the historical analysis from the zip codes selected designates where a device currently lives and does not return devices likely to move into those zip codes for any given month.

Predicted Movers audiences behave in the same manner as other Demographic or Residential Address audience types and will have similar analytics & download capabilities. In other words, you can generate Demographic or Political reports but not Insight or Heatmaps (as the MAIDs pulled do not have date/time stamp data associated) and will not include downloads that incorporate device observations or counts.

Create a Predicted Movers Audience:

1. Once user permission is granted, navigate to Audiences tab and select “Create Predicted Movers”

2. Add in your audience name, org and tags.

3. Enter your list of zip codes

4. Select the month you’d like to pull devices for within the specified zip codes
