When attempting to upload a list of residential audiences to the application, ensure that they are correctly saved. The template is provided in the correct format, CSV UTF-8, and must remain in that format. The CSV UTF-8 is the only encoding type that Amazon “S3 Select” tool supports, so the file must be saved and exported using the UTF-8 encoding. As this is not a unique situation, the OnSpot Support Team recommends that our users default to saving and exporting all Excel spreadsheets using the CSV UTF-8 encoding to ensure that users don’t run into this issue in the future. To save and export properly, check to make sure that CSV UTF-8 is selected in the Format dropdown in the Excel file as seen below.
