This report seems to be taking a long time to complete. What can I do?

The processing time for building audiences and generating the associated Insight, Demographic, Heatmap, Attribution and other .csv downloads can take several minutes to several hours, depending on the current jobs in your organization's queue, and size and scope of the job. Once submitted, the job should process, but you may need to give it time. However, sometimes jobs can get corrupted due to data structure or errors in internet connections. If your job has taken longer than 4 hours to complete, contact support via Intercom to have the team look into what may be causing delays. Note: DO NOT clone, or initiate the exact same audience build, or reporting job if there is a delay in processing, this will only cause further delays and create additional jobs in the queue for your organization, which will slow things down for all users. When in doubt, contact support on Intercom.

This report is taking a long time. Should I just recreate it?

No. Once a reporting job has been initiated, it cannot be stopped or modified.  It must continue until successfully finished. Do not try to run again. The second or retried job will likely have the same issues as the first, and only further congest the processing process for all users in your organization. Give it up to 4 hours to complete. If it is still showing “Processing,” or is in your job queue after 4 hours, contact support via Intercom. Remember to include the audience name and type of report, and our team will help you troubleshoot the issue.

What are the reports available for download?

There are various reports available for download as in a .csv file format, depending on what your organization's administrator has permitted you to access. Contact your administrator if you have questions on what downloads you have access to. Any reports containing Mobile Device Ids are hashed, or encrypted (no exceptions due to PII regulations.) Additionally, if your organization has access to Household Address downloads, Mobile Device IDs will not appear on that report to be compliant with PII regulations.

Why can I not generate an Insight Report for my audience?

Insight Reports are available for Geoframe-based audiences only. This includes Geoframe, Quick Select, and Commercial Address audience types. The reason being that Insight reports require data on the location and date/time stamp that the associated Mobile Device IDs were seen at the location(s). Audiences not based on a Geoframe (Demographic, Residential Address, Web Pixel, and Device ID Audience uploads) do not have these Device observation characteristics, and therefore do not have the option for generating an Insight Report.

Is there a way to export the Insight, Demographic, Heatmap, or Attribution (visual) Reports to PDF?

Currently export to PDF is not available for these reports. To share the report with others, simply copy and paste the report URL out of your browser and send it along. Anyone with this URL (regardless of if they are a user in the platform or not) can view the reports via this URL.

Can I share my visual report with someone who does not have login access?

Yes, simply copy/paste the URL from your browser when viewing the report and this can be emailed to anyone inside or outside of your organization.

Why do the US maps show clusters from outside the specified Geoframe/POI and out-of-state areas?

The clusters displayed on US maps for Insight Reports and Heatmaps represent the Households or Workplaces we have matched with a Mobile Device ID seen in the original Geoframe(s) of the Audience. You will likely see devices from other states outside the target area, as devices seen could include visitors, tourists, and people that have recently moved to the area and our matching process has not “caught up” with their new household address.

How do I get the Household addresses for an audience to use for direct mail?

We can supply the Household/postal addresses for direct mail as a special request. Note that there is an additional charge for this access, and the address list export will not include hashed Mobile Device IDs. The list can only be sent via SFTP to a certified direct mail firm with a signed Direct Mail agreement, or we can suggest some of our direct mail partners. Your organization's administrator can contact us for more details.

Do you offer download of the polygons from the Geoframes created?

Currently downloading polygons is not available. However, in the Geoframe library, you can select "view on map" from the 3 dot "action" menu next to the Geoframe and see the polygon on the map.

Is there a way to remove the OnSpot logo from Insight, Demographic, Heatmap, or Attribution (visual) Reports?

If your company would like custom branding on your reports, have your organization's administrator contact OnSpot to discuss our White Label platform options.

Is there a restriction on the types of audiences that can be used for TARGET and DESTINATION audiences in Attribution Report?

Yes, for more details on this please refer to this article.

Can I add my actual number of impressions into an Attribution Report?

By default, the Attribution Report tool uses a calculation based on industry averages for number of impressions in order to generate the "Campaign Response Rate" seen on the report. Instead of using these defaults, if you can retrieve the number of unique devices served from your DSP you can override these defaults. Note that you may need the associated user permission enabled from your organization's administrator to access this.

Is there an audience size limit (Devices or Geoframes) for Attribution Reports?

Yes. The Attribution Report can handle up to 20 million devices or 1,000 Geoframes for either Target or Destination audiences.
