We want to ensure that our users understand the audience activation options publishing integration for Google. Below is an explanation of the difference between Google DV360 and Google Ads.

Google DV360

Google Display and Video 360 (also called DV360) is Google's Demand Side Platform (DSP). The settings in DV360 allow you to connect with a wide range of publishers to reach the customized audience you created in the OnSpot platform. OnSpot audiences can be published to Google DV360 using an OpenX Deal ID. This allows users to access OpenX Inventory on DV360, again matching back to the devices identified in the audiences you've built. Campaigns can be run for all media types including Display (desktop and mobile), CTV, and OTT.

Google Ads

Google Ads is an online advertising platform developed by Google, where advertisers bid to display brief advertisements, service offerings, product listings, or videos to web users. It can place ads both in the results of search engines like Google Search and on non-search websites, mobile apps, and videos. For Google Ads, the available inventory is within Google's own network and is not connected to any outside exchanges. OnSpot audiences cannot be published to Google Ads. To set up campaigns in Google Ads, you must use their audience segmentation tools.
