Onboarding Guidelines

Welcome to the Platform.

Here are the next steps to get your company up and running.

Administration (for Admin Users Only)

User Information (required)

Please send your Account Manager the name, email address, and phone number for the following people in your organization:

  1. Main Contact

  2. Platform Administrator Contact (Person with permissions to set up manage your platform users)

  3. Billing Contact

Shortly after we have this information the main contact and organization's Administrator will receive login credentials via email.

Your Organization's Administrator

We will provide all the necessary permissions (access to platform features) as "Grant" permissions to your company's administrator. The administrator will then be able to set up the company's users and assign the proper permissions to each user. Please note, OnSpot representatives will not add users or modify user's permissions. That is left solely to the Organization's Administrator.

Administer Users (visible only to organization admin)

Add Users

The Admin area allows the organization’s administrator to add, delete, and archive users, including selection of user permissions.

Edit user permissions

Utilize the menu and checkbox options to grant specific permissions for each user.

Manage (Sub) Organizations

For organizations who have sub-organizations, administrators can add new organizations here, including adding or changing publishing credentials.

Reporting

Review reporting for your organization for Audience publications, Attribution usage, and Geoframe creation.

Facebook Admin Setup

DSP for publishing (required)

You will need to provide us with the details of your DSP user credentials for each of the DSPs you will want to publish audiences to (i.e. AppNexus/Xandr, RTBiQ, The Trade Desk, LiquidM, etc.) We will need your Member ID or User ID and Secret Key for each DSP.

If the DSP is not one we currently support, don’t worry. If you provide us with your DSP account rep’s contact information, we will arrange a conference call and obtain the necessary information. Contact your support representative to learn about the full list of DSP partners & integrations.

Custom Branding – White Label Platform

(Optional, if you're not using the OnSpot branded platform)

  1. LOGO – Your company logo, preferably at least 400px wide (will be downsized and be optimized for retina displays.) Transparent PNG format preferred.

  2. DOMAIN – You will need to set up a domain or subdomain to login to the platform. For example: ourcompany.com, app.ourcompany.com.

  3. DNS – Once you’ve determined what domain/subdomain you’ll use, you’ll need to set up a CNAME record to point to onspot-v2.netlify.com. Remember to tell us what that URL is so we can set it up in our system for you. We can complete this setup only after your record is set up and functional.

Remember to tell us what that URL is so we can set it up in our system for you. We can complete this setup only after the steps above are set up and functional.

Training

We’d like to provide you with training and user guides as soon as you and your team are ready to launch. Additional follow up training is always available as well. Please contact your support representative to schedule. The initial video conference training will take approximately 1 hour and should be attended by all your initial users for best results.

Timing

Standard OnSpot UI access will be available within hours of receiving the contacts mentioned above. Upon receipt of the custom branding items above if you are looking to have white label access, it will take between 1-2 business days to activate your custom branded platform.
